Got a call from 01257825006, some stranger wanting to check up on how I was handling the whole pandemic thing. They said they wanted to be mates with me since I'm older, like a senior citizen. Bit odd but sweet, I suppose.

this number keeps ringing me regularly but i never pick up cos i dont recognize it. today though i decided to dial back, using 141 first to hide my number. the phone just kept ringing for ages before going to an answering machine. a woman with an American accent spoke, asking to leave a message, but i didnt say anything. pretty sure it’s just some pushy scammer trying their luck.

someone rang me pretending to be from a care service, saying they were contacting all elderly people nearby and assured me they weren't trying to sell anything. when i asked how they had my number, they mentioned it came from their supplier. seems like my number ended up on some list being sold around.

After looking into it more, I’m pretty sure this might be a scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now. Normally I wouldn’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, but I guess I’ve learned my lesson this time.

I got a call from a woman with a foreign accent who said her name was Susannah Williams. She mentioned she’d ring me back again, but I have no clue how she got my details or my phone number. Gonna be careful with her calls from now on.
