Some bloke rang me saying he was with a firm that could cut my debt payments in half thanks to some new government scheme. He claimed he didn’t need any of my details since he already had them on his screen. To check, I asked if he could tell me my date of birth they supposedly had, but he said he wasn’t allowed to share that info. Then I asked what sort of debts his company was supposed to reduce, and he started quizzing me about my credit cards, like which one I owed money on. I couldn’t help but laugh at how daft it all sounded, and then he just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC about a tax refund. They asked me to click a link to get the money back. Problem is, I dont even pay tax! Total scam, watch out everyone!

Some bloke called himself "Tom" and started on about this "government funded loft insulation". When I told him he’d got the wrong number, he just dropped the call straight away. Reminded me of another one from the same kind of scam callers, like [#]who-called[###][###]/Number/2,01202081189.
