I wasn't home to answer and they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. Seems like it was some sort of scam attempt to me. With the number given, I’m surprised these folks haven’t been nailed yet?!

I got a call out of the blue saying my roof and loft had lead and were a health risk, but nobody had actually checked anything. When I asked why they rang without arranging it first, the person just hung up on me after making some threatening comments about my "unsafe lead roof." I used 1471 to see the number, which showed 01257733189, but when I rang back, it said the number wasn’t recognised or doesn’t exist.
