I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT, saying my broadband was about to be cut off. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer, so it seemed suspicious right away. This was the third time this week I’ve had that same sort of call. I mentioned I’m on the telephone preference service, but he just kept pushing to speak with me. When I said I’d reported it to the police and TPS, he got quite annoyed. Definitely feels like some sort of scam.
