This morning, I got a call from this number, and a woman with an accent not from around here claimed to be from BT, offering me three months of free line rental as a reward for my supposed loyalty. The cheek of it! I've only been with BT for a year, and only just arranged a new package a few days ago that didn't mention anything about a £60 discount. Unsurprisingly, when I started asking questions, she abruptly hung up. I've since learned that calls from this number might be fishing for bank details to sort out this so-called offer. I reckon I dodged a bullet after contacting BT recently; otherwise, I could have easily fallen for their dodgy tactics.

What sort of dodgy charlatans are these? It baffles me how they can attempt to con someone when the line goes dead! Honestly, do they have any sense at all, or are they just as dim-witted as they appear? I'm inclined to believe the latter.
I’d love to chance upon one of these numpties in person; they’d certainly need legal representation against their own tricks! My disdain for them runs deep-hate doesn’t even come close to capturing how I feel.
