Today at about 3 in the afternoon, I got a call from this number on my mobile. For nearly twenty seconds, there was just some noise in the background before the line suddenly went quiet. Not long after, my husband’s phone rang and the exact same thing happened. Our phone numbers are identical except for the very last digit - mine ends in 2 and his in 3. Apparently, these annoying people just take a number and tweak the final digit to make their calls, which I believe is actually against the law when cold calling. My tip? If you spot this number or see the local area name, don’t bother picking up, it’s not worth your time.

I dont get why they just keep me on the phone and then cut off after about half a minute. Could it be one of those pricey numbers or something?
