Got a call from a lady who sounded Asian, said she was from Talk Talk - total scam!

This number has rung me three times today. Like others have said, it’s a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from Talk Talk. He’s telling me there’s been some bad downloads on my internet. The moment I questioned him, he just cut off the call.

Got a call from a number almost identical to one I got before - the only difference was the final two digits, this time ending in 99 instead of 89. Checked it out and turns out 99 is definitely a scam. The person on the other end was pretending to be from TalkTalk, telling me to get on my PC and follow some instructions. They claimed there was nasty malware coming through my broadband and offered to fix it. Yeah right, like I’m falling for that! Both those numbers have been blocked now.
