i got a call from a woman with a strange accent who asked if i'd been getting annoying phone calls. i told her she herself was one of them. she kept going on about how if i paid £109 just once, bt would send me a device to block calls. i told her i wasn’t even a bt customer but she didn’t care. then, when i mentioned i didn’t have a bank account (which is true), she had nothing else to say! honestly, all they want is your bank info. totally dodgy.

He kept pestering me to give my credit card info, but thankfully I refused. The bloke was really annoying and when I tried ringing him back, the number just came up as unknown.

Every day they ring me up first thing in the morning but don’t say a word. It’s so annoying and wakes everyone in the house. I wish there was a way to block these calls ‘cause they really shouldn’t be allowed to do this. Imagine if it happened to them and their loved ones, wouldn’t be happy at all!

Got a call asking if I’d been getting annoying calls lately. I replied, “Yeah, and I reckon this is one right now - cheers,” and ended the call. Then they called straight back from another number and started pestering me about what I said. I hung up again. They tried phoning once more, rambling on, so I just blocked their number.
