Got a call claiming to be from the NHS about COVID jabs, they checked if I’d had both (I’ve had three actually) and then asked me to rate the whole programme out of ten. Started off alright, but then they tried to get details about my life insurance which I refused and said it wasn’t relevant. Right after that, they just dropped the call. I’ve blocked the number now.

Just the day before, the legitimate NHS track and trace team reached out to me. It really makes you wonder if somehow, someone in the NHS’s call centre is handing out our information to these dodgy companies, particularly since many comments suggest these scams are linked to NHS or Covid-related topics. Best to block the number and not waste another second on it! It's particularly suspect that the call came from a Chorley area code, especially since I’m based in Bath - definitely sounded like a classic spam attempt!

Today, I found myself on the receiving end of three calls from this particular number. The first couple of times, I answered but was met with an unsettling silence on the other end. By the third call, the caller tried to convince me they were affiliated with the NHS and had something to say regarding Covid. However, after doing a quick check on the number and discovering it originated from Coppull, I was rather sceptical when they mentioned being at Elephant and Castle in London. This prompted me to promptly terminate the call!
