Received a dodgy call from what sounded like an overseas call centre, claiming to be from the NHS regarding the Covid jab. They began probing for my personal information, and then bizarrely tried to sell me life insurance. Quite fishy, if you ask me. This is certainly not how the NHS operates!

Got a call claiming to be from the NHS about COVID jabs, they checked if I’d had both (I’ve had three actually) and then asked me to rate the whole programme out of ten. Started off alright, but then they tried to get details about my life insurance which I refused and said it wasn’t relevant. Right after that, they just dropped the call. I’ve blocked the number now.

Had a ring from this number earlier claiming to be with the NHS, asking about my covid jabs. He reckoned I’d had the two big ones, which I suppose is a fair guess! Kept calling me “Madame” like every other sentence. I told him I don’t trust NHS calls coming from a Chorley STD code and ended the call. He just hung up on me! Number’s blocked now!

I told him I didn’t want to take part, then he asked my name, said sorry and hung up. Weird thing is, he rung a new number I’d only just got set up yesterday for my mum. Could be a wrong number but honestly, feels like a scam more than anything.

After I kept probing and she kept dodging my questions, she suddenly lost her temper, told me to "f**k off" close to twenty times, and then just cut me off.

Got a call from someone saying they were NHS, already knew my name and asked if I’d had both my jabs. I told them that info should be on my medical records. Then they wanted to know if I had a vaccine certificate, I just said it’s all on the app. Next, they asked about my life insurance, and I told them that’s personal and I’m not sharing it because of GDPR. They just hung up after that. This was actually the fifth call in less than 2 hours!

I didn’t pick up, but yesterday got a call from a different number that was clearly a scam. I had a genuine NHS Track & Trace alert the same day, so I reckon someone working on those calls is giving away contacts to these scammers. Loads of people mentioning it’s linked to Covid and the NHS in the comments here too. The number had a Chorley dialling code, yet I’m based in Bath, so no doubt it was spam. Just blocked and ignored it!

This number has rung me thrice today. The first couple of times, there was dead silence when I answered. On the third call, the person said it was about NHS Covid, but I had already looked up the number and saw it's linked to Coppull. He then said he was calling from the Elephant and Castle in London, which didn’t add up, so I just ended the call.

Just like a lot of others have said, this was definitely a scam. They pretended to be from the NHS and said they needed to post me a paper version of my vaccine certificate. When I asked straight up if it was a scam, they just ended the call. Also, I’ve gotten calls from the number 01204899143 three times within the past couple of days, same as what loads of people here have mentioned.

This number has rung me over and over, but no idea why or what they want. If you don’t say “hello”, it seems to trick the auto dialler, making it hang up by itself. I tend to keep quiet at first, waiting to see if the caller actually talks to help filter out annoying calls. Lately, the amount of these kind of calls has gone up quite a bit this week.
