10 yearsSo on 17th Jan at about 1.29pm, the phone just disconnected right as the voicemail started cos I didn't pick up.10 yearsI picked up the phone to find someone claiming they were from Talk Talk, saying there was an issue with my internet connection. They wanted me to have a look at the lights on my router-everything seemed perfectly fine on my end. Then they inquired if I had either a laptop or a desktop computer. From the moment I answered, I felt uneasy about the whole interaction and ultimately decided to end the conversation by telling them it wasn’t any of their concern. Cheerio! The call wasn’t great quality, and the person on the other line had a distinct foreign accent.10 yearsJust like quite a few others mentioned, I got three calls from TalkTalk’s tech support within a couple of hours. Bit much if you ask me.TalkTalk10 yearsI just had the exact same thing happen to me, it was so annoying! Same kind of call, sounded like a telemarketer trying to push some bogus deal. I didn’t even answer properly, just hung up after a few seconds. Guess these scam calls are getting more clever now, you’d think they’d give up but nope. Hopefully, someone out there can find out who’s behind these calls cause it’s getting ridiculous.10 yearsGot a call from some bloke claiming to be from “Talk Talk technical support” saying my router was hacked and offering to sort it out. Same old Indian accent and the same tired tale. I kept him chatting nonsense for a good few minutes but then lost interest and ended the call. They stick to their script, not asking for personal info right off, so another one added to my scam caller list.TalkTalk10 yearsGot a call from someone saying there’s an issue with my server but I don’t even have TalkTalk! Total scam attempt.TalkTalkSubmit Your Own Report (01257 257868)
