We just got a call at work from this number, a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT. She said the account belonged to a former employee and warned that our internet would be cut off within an hour because of numerous hacking reports, with the outage lasting around two weeks. Her English was quite poor, so I'm only going by what I understood. When I asked what she wanted, she said if we bought some special service, BT wouldn’t disconnect us since the line would be protected. I called her out for trying to scam me and she immediately hung up.
