Got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk, telling me my line was messed up and might get cut off. They asked me to press 1 or 2 to fix it. The lady had an accent but spoke English quite clearly and sounded pretty believable.

Today my TalkTalk landline rang and someone said they were from TalkTalk. They claimed there was some strange activity on my internet and asked if I was aware of it. I wasn’t really sure if it was legit, so I kept firing questions at them. After a while, they just cut me off and hung up.
