8 yearsI got a call from this number, and the bloke sounded Indian but said his name was Keith Hobo. He claimed to be from Virgin Media saying there was a problem with my internet. He wanted me to give him access to my PC so he could show me the typical errors caused by bad internet. I played along for a bit until another guy, also with an Indian accent, called Ben Gilbert, came on and told me I was entitled to a refund because of slow broadband and poor lines. He also mentioned Virgin would send me a new router. I said that was brilliant and asked him to arrange for the refund to go straight into my account so it would reduce my monthly bills. Then he said I needed to log into my account so they could confirm where to pay. That’s when I told him where to go, and he got rude.
