Twice I missed this call, mainly because the person calling never left their name after the automated prompt. When I dialled the number back, it turned out to be Hampshire Hospitals Trust wanting to follow up on my visit to Basingstoke Hospital. Definitely not spam!

Called my landline at 4.01pm when I wasn’t home and left a robotic message. Claimed to be from Hampshire Hospital NHS Trust asking for feedback on my recent visit. Either they’re legit (which I doubt) or scammers trying to hack the NHS. I was at a Hampshire hospital yesterday but they couldn’t help me and I left without anything, so why would they ask about “my experience”? They said they’d ring back in 24 hours. Bet they won’t. Number removed.

Got a call on my landline with some recorded message claiming to be from the Hampshire NHS about a recent treatment. We never had any treatment nor do we even live in Hampshire! Decided to block the number straight away.

I received a call on my landline from 01256 700372 at precisely 4:05 in the afternoon. Unfortunately, I was out at the time and they didn’t bother to leave a message. Given that I've been having a few medical tests recently, it seems likely they’ve somehow managed to obtain my number. It’s quite disgraceful how low these scammers will sink! They’re truly despicable, and quite frankly, I find that comparison to rats is giving them too much credit. I've definitely blocked the number now.

I’ve been having some medical tests recently, so maybe that’s how they got hold of my number. Honestly, how desperate are these SCAMMERS willing to be? Absolutely disgraceful. They’re worse than vermin. Actually, that’s unfair to vermin. I’ve blocked the number now.

Given that I've had a few medical appointments this week, it wouldn't surprise me if that's how they got hold of my number. Honestly, how low can these con artists sink? They’re utterly despicable-comparable to vermin in a drain, but even that feels a bit harsh on the rats! I've taken the step to block the number now.

Building on my previous remarks, I received another call from them at a rather precise 5:05 pm while I was at home. I recognised the number and decided to answer, yet remained silent on the line. To my surprise, it turned out to be an automatic system. Interestingly, it appears to be a legitimate outreach as they had my information regarding a recent hospital procedure from two days prior, even addressing me by my name. However, one can't blame people for being wary when there's no actual person on the other end of the line. I can appreciate the pressures on resources and understand that the NHS cannot afford a legion of staff to personally contact each individual post-appointment for feedback. Nonetheless, one would think there might be a more effective approach to gather opinions-perhaps the automated caller could first leave a message stating, “This is the NHS wishing to hear your thoughts concerning your visit to ***** Hospital on ***** date." But, alas, I suspect that regulations around Data Protection throw a spanner in the works.

Blocked it a couple of times already... really creepy tbh... never called back these numbers before. Usually when I do, I crank up the radio loud while calling them on hide my number but this one just sends texts & you can't even reply. Proper fishy, maybe a scam. Wish I could message back, would give ‘em what for on hide my number if possible. Proper scary stuff for old folks like me.

They claimed to be from Basingstoke NHS Trust checking up on my recent appointment or something. I’ve never used their services so not sure what they’re after. They’ve called me about five times but I just haven’t picked up and plan to block them now.

looks like this is a feedback setup for a&e patients, something the qcc (quality care commission) makes them do. so dont go blaming basingstoke hospital for it. they probably get loads of complaints from patients when they follow up and honestly they probably dislike it just as much as we do. and nope, i wouldn’t bother replying to a robotic system either.

I couldn't answer the phone quick enough, so I dialled 1471 and discovered that this number had tried to reach me. They left a note claiming to be from the NHS and mentioned they would ring back. After glancing through some of the earlier remarks on this number, I must admit I'm rather concerned. If there's a chance, I’d appreciate chatting with someone about this matter.

I live with my elderly parents and recently had to take one of them to Winchester A&E. We've been getting loads of nuisance calls from this number, all blocked by our call blockers - so fed up with these scam calls, they're a terrible hassle. We've even got two call blockers now! Honestly, I just want to speak to a real person, not some automated machine. Seriously NHS, sort your stuff out or maybe it’s time to go private!

I've had a couple of calls from them today, on the 29th of August. The first was around 2:57 p.m., not long after followed by another at 4:57 p.m. Quite curious that both times are exactly the same down to the minute-it feels rather automated, doesn’t it? They didn’t bother to leave a message, but I've managed to grab their number off my reliable answerphone.

This number is from basingstoke and the voicemail says its from the nhs. I guess it might be connected to a recent a&e visit and they’re trying to gather some feedback. If it’s legit it’s quite helpful, but if it’s some kind of sneaky scam then you should be careful.
