I received a call from 01256602239. The caller claimed to be from Amazon Prime and mentioned that they were about to deduct £79.99 from my bank account. They asked me to press 1 to speak to someone in sales regarding cancelling the payment. After checking with my bank, they advised me to avoid engaging with them. It turns out Amazon Prime doesn’t make such calls to their customers, confirming that it’s indeed a scam!
