Got a voicemail saying it was from Amazon, telling me there was a dodgy $1800 purchase on my account and to press 1 if it wasn’t me. I just hung up straight away. Had a look at my Amazon account and there’s nothing strange going on. Pretty obvious it was a scam.

I picked up the phone but the call just dropped straight away. Tried calling back but got a message saying it’s not a valid number. Feels like this could be a dodgy number to me. Also got a similar call from 01256 073278 and the same thing happened.

I got a call from a recorded voice pretending to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my internet security. I ended the call straight away and then set up BT Protect to stop any more calls from that number.

So, this guy named Daniel called me pretending to be from BT, saying my internet was at risk over the last couple of days. I told him I hadn’t heard anything about that and when I asked him to keep talking, he just ended the call. Weird behaviour really.
