I received a call this evening around 6 o'clock from a chap sporting a Liverpudlian accent. He inquired if he could chat with either my husband or me, using our surname. He then proceeded to ask if I had been in any sort of accident over the past couple of years. When I responded in the negative, he pressed on to see if anyone in the household had encountered an incident. I reassured him that was not the case either. He seemed a bit taken aback, claiming there must have been some sort of error in his records and that he would ensure our number was taken off their list. I believe he mentioned he was affiliated with a company called First Response.
