Got a call from 01256 478565 claiming to be my internet provider. They said hackers were using my IP for some illegal stuff and could sort it out if I let them access my computer. Initially, they wanted to use TeamViewer, but that wouldn’t work because my Mac OS is too old. Then they switched to Supremo, which I managed to get running. Here's the funny bit - they kept refusing to give me their server ID, just kept asking for mine and the password instead. Absolutely no chance I’d hand that over. Pretty sure the caller ID was faked too.
