Some bloke called me claiming to be David from BT, asking about my mum who passed away back in 2015. That already shows their info is way out of date, which I reckon breaks GDPR rules. When I told him she wasn’t here, he just dropped the call straight away. There’s no way this was truly BT - besides, we have another phone with BT, but this number he called is Virgin’s line, so BT wouldn't be using it. Sounds like a scam to me, otherwise why hang up without even saying sorry for bothering us?
