Honestly, these people should find real jobs instead of spamming from some call centre. If you’re unsure, just look them up before bothering.

I got a call from a woman saying she was from the NHS checking in on my vaccine side effects and how I was feeling. Out of nowhere she switched topics and started quizzing me about some "unsecured loans" supposedly in my name, asking if they were stressing me out. I wasn't having any of it and let her know it was dodgy pretending to be a nurse or something, then just ended the call.

Just ignore and block this number immediately. They pretend to be from the NHS Covid-19 Track and Trace, trying to get your bank details, but they haven't got a clue what they're on about. They only have a bit of info and use it to trick you into handing over personal stuff. Best thing is to just hang up straight away. No doubt it's a total scam. Honestly, they ought to be chased down by the law! I really hope these call-blocking websites catch on and take action. They have loads of data that could help catch these scammers for good.

The guy on the phone seemed Indian and knew my full name. He started by asking if I’d had my vaccine. When I said I didn’t trust him, he just cut the call immediately.

Someone phoned me asking me to ask for them by name and claimed to be from the NHS. They wanted to know if I had received my two Covid jabs. I replied that if they were truly NHS, they’d already know my vaccination status. The caller insisted on me confirming whether I’d had the vaccinations. They also started asking about my life insurance. That’s when I checked the number showing and noticed it didn’t start with 0300, which is usually a sign it’s a legit public service number. The number looked dodgy, so I called the caller out for being a scammer and they immediately hung up.

I honestly didn’t think this was a scam at first. They asked if I’d had the vaccine and if I have private health insurance, then wanted me to rate the whole vaccine experience on a scale of 1 to 10. I answered those but didn’t share any additional details. Still a bit confused about what exactly the scam is meant to be here?
