It took them ages to pick up, which is usually a dead giveaway it’s one of those call centres. The bloke claimed he was calling from Virgin Media’s tech support. I just hung up straight away since I’ve had enough of these sorts of calls. Looks like it was a scam to me. Haven't heard from them since though.
