Got a ring from this number on 26/7/16. The person on the other end said he was from Microsoft, warning me my computer was at risk. I asked for some form of identification which he couldn’t provide. I mentioned my PC was running perfectly, but he insisted it wasn’t. Being a software engineer, I was confident about my machine’s condition, so I got a bit cheeky and asked him why the Apple logo is shaped like an apple and what Steve Jobs did after leaving Apple. He seemed baffled. At that point, I was certain he wasn’t with Microsoft or really knew anything about tech. When I requested to speak to his supervisor, he just ended the call. Anyone got any ideas where these calls might be coming from?
