I got a call from 01256330853, looks like it’s from Basingstoke. I picked up but there was complete silence at first, then I heard voices faintly in the background before they just hung up. Seems like it could be some kind of scam to me.

I’ve configured my phone to silence calls from unfamiliar numbers, so I always take a moment to investigate them. Unfortunately, I’m now receiving about three of these calls daily. I go ahead and block them to be on the safe side, but astonishingly, I find myself getting calls from numbers that are quite similar the very next day. I’ve come to the conclusion that they’re all likely scams.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with “bank security” who told me to press 2 to call them back. Seems dodgy to me, probably a scam.
