I got a call from 01256330853, looks like it’s from Basingstoke. I picked up but there was complete silence at first, then I heard voices faintly in the background before they just hung up. Seems like it could be some kind of scam to me.

I normally have my phone not ring if it’s from a number I don’t recognise, then I look them up. Lately, I’ve been getting around three a day, so I block them straight away. But the next day, it’s always a similar number calling again. I just assume they’re all scams now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with “bank security” who told me to press 2 to call them back. Seems dodgy to me, probably a scam.
