Some bloke called himself John, sounded like he was Indian but his accent was really hard to get. Said he worked for Sky and that my insurance on some gear was about to run out. I asked him what the weather was like back home in Mumbai or Delhi or wherever in India he was ringing from. He got proper rude, cursing at me and calling me a smartass. I told him that was a lot better than being a muppet like him, pretending “John” was a good cover-up for a thick accent. Then he just cut the call.

I asked "hello?" and before I could say more, he dropped the call. It’s that classic scam about your Sky policy running out, except I don’t even have a Sky policy in the first place. Typical!
