I got a call supposedly from "National Debtline," but when I asked how they got my phone number, the guy mumbled something in a thick Asian accent. I told him I couldn’t catch what he said at all, and then he hung up on me. Honestly, these calls are getting ridiculous.

I got a call from someone wanting to know if I’d had a car crash and was looking to make a claim. Couldn't find anything about them anywhere on the web, so I’m pretty sure it’s one of those scam calls trying to phish for info.

They called me saying I’d been in some accident, but I hadn’t, at all. Apparently, they’d got all the details from the accident department or something.

This number has buzzed me like mad - four times in the space of an hour! If it’s not some grim news about a relative or ringing up to say I’ve bagged the jackpot (which would be pretty wild since I never even bother with the lottery), I’m pretty sure it’s one of those call centres fishing about whether I’ve been in some sort of accident that wasn’t down to me, or maybe I’m owed some dodgy PPI. Or maybe they just want to chat with someone as utterly marvellous as me.
