Got a call from some guy with an Asian accent who claimed to be from HM Revenue and Customs. He told my dad there was a warrant for his arrest over unpaid taxes. Then the line just went dead. A couple minutes later, he called again and my mum picked up. He asked for my dad, and when she said he wasn’t there, he just hung up straight away. Total scam, obviously just trying to scare older people into handing over their bank info.
