3 yearsGot a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who called himself Adam, saying he was from BT's accounts team. He claimed because I was such a devoted customer, I was one of three people in my area chosen to get a 35% discount on my bill. He asked to confirm my postcode first - which, weirdly, he got right, along with my name. I never actually confirmed anything though, just told him I don't talk to scammers and I don’t give out personal info. (Haven’t been with BT for yonks, anyway.) He kept pushing, saying he just needed to post me a letter and wasn’t after info.
