Got a call on my home phone but no one said a word or left any message. Quite weird really.

Got a call much like this one the day before, different number but the same claim about suspicious activity on my landline, supposedly from BT. I asked straight up if she was saying a crime had taken place, and she just cut me off. Bit of a letdown really, 'cause I had my uncle who’s a cop (off duty) right there and was hoping to have a laugh with the cheeky scammer.
