I got a call from a woman claiming she was from Virgin Media Broadband, saying she could fix my internet speed issues. When I asked her to send me the details by email, she just ended the call. So far, no email has come through.

I got a call from a woman with a really strong foreign accent claiming to be from Microsoft. She started off with the same old story about issues on my computer, something I’ve dealt with loads of times before. She sounded quite scary though, which could be a problem for folks who get easily spooked. It’s clearly a scam, no doubt about it.
