2 yearsYesterday (3rd May '24) I got a call from this number, with the caller claiming to be from Microsoft in Reading, Berkshire. He told me a programme supposedly installed by Microsoft on my PC had alerted them that my IP address was taken over by some "intruder" who was using it for dodgy, illegal stuff. At first, he said he wouldn't ask me to do anything on my computer, but then he went on to ask me to switch it on. I said no way, and when he pushed again, I refused once more.
