I received a rather dubious call today from someone claiming to be from Sky, asserting that they were performing tests on my broadband. They proceeded to ask me to download a specific application that was allegedly necessary to rectify some speed-related troubles.with connections. Sounded pretty fishy to me!

Received a dodgy call from a chap claiming to be from Sky Broadband, insisting that my internet was running slowly and they needed to conduct a speed test. Initially, he rang my landline, then promptly switched to my mobile. He was quite pushy about me downloading some sort of app from the Play Store to sort out the issues with my broadband. When I probed him on why the Sky app wouldn't suffice for the repairs, he just hung up. Quite the experience, I must say!

Received a call from an unidentified number claiming they owed me £129.50 for a dodgy repair on my home appliance. It's clearly a trick to get my details.
