I got a call from someone saying, "Are you able to hear me? I'm your local energy advisor in your area." It sounded like some sort of automated message. Whenever I tried to engage or asked questions, there was no reply back. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Picked up the phone and all I got was this dodgy automated voice asking if I could hear it okay. Knew straight away it was some kind of scam, so I hung up right away. Later, I checked the number online and saw a few other calls from different Basingstoke numbers doing the same scam in the past day or so!

Got a recorded message after a little pause, then it said something like "Hi, this is Jo, your local energy advisor..." I just hung up straight away and blocked the number. We’re on the TPS list but still get swamped with calls like this. Total annoyance and a massive waste of time.
