Got a call from this number a few times, didn’t answer cause I’m not familiar with that area code. Honestly, just avoid picking up if it rings you.

this time, the call started with a quick burst of some weird, foreign-sounding chatter before suddenly cutting off. not planning to say more!

Got a call just now with silence, looked like it came from a UK number. Seems like one of those scam calls trying to check if someone picks up. Wish Ofcom could finally put an end to these, but no luck yet, huh?

Totally with the person before me on this - this number just winds me up so much. It’s crazy how nothing seems to be done about these irritating time-wasters nowadays. The guy sounded foreign and was pretty cheeky, so I just gave him the cold shoulder.

Got two calls from this number, then one from an ‘international’ one, same foreign accent each time. Both times, all they did was shout swear words at me, with some sort of laughter going on in the background. Honestly, these sorts of calls are a real danger, especially for elderly folks. The UK needs to do something about stopping these scammers using UK area codes from overseas. It’s high time the authorities cracked down to keep people safe from this ongoing problem.

He claimed it had something to do with call barring, but it felt totally dodgy. Plus, he couldn’t even manage to say my name properly - and I couldn’t be bothered to correct him!

They come off really rude and pushy, and honestly, it’s like they just don’t get what you’re trying to say.

Never tell these mugs any of your payment details, like how you sort your phone bill or direct debits - they're just scammers trying to get your info. Just hang up and don't answer any of their questions.

I got called by a guy who was talking super fast in Arabic and then just cut the call right away. A few hours later, I started getting loads of dodgy calls - probably they were just checking if the number was live or something.
