Seems like after a pause, these fraudsters have started up once more.

I phoned an elderly lady who suffers from dementia to inform her that all the funds had been withdrawn from her account. Given her condition, she can't recount the rest of our exchange, but it's highly likely that they attempted to extract personal details from her. Thankfully, her memory issues prevent her from sharing any such information, but it’s concerning to think that others who are vulnerable could be tricked. This incident has understandably left her quite distressed.

I got a robocall saying that two payments had been taken from my account for some international fees. Seems like the same thing someone mentioned happening to them back on the 4th of January.
