Got a weird call from someone pretending to be BT, saying my IP had been nicked from abroad. They wanted me to press something on the phone, but honestly, just ignore it - it's all a con to mess with your internet stuff. The real fix is just switching off your router, wait 20 seconds and turn it back on. I can't figure out why BT hasn't cracked down on these scammers or how they even get hold of phone numbers. If BT isn’t behind it, then whoever's selling the numbers should really be stopped.
