3 yearsI received a call from an unknown number, but it only rang once before they disconnected.3 yearsI had a rather peculiar phone call from someone asserting they were reaching out about my existing EE contract. They went on about how my loyalty as a customer had made me eligible for an upgrade, which sounded rather enticing, I’ll admit. However, the thing is, I've never been an EE customer in the first place! No question in my mind - this is a total scam!EE3 yearsAbsolutely a scam, they faked being from EE and sent me a six-digit code that let them hack into my MyEE account. They changed both my email address and password. Thankfully, I spotted the dodgy behaviour pretty quickly and rang EE straight away to freeze my SIM and secure the account. I’m not sure what they wanted exactly, but I noticed they attempted to boost my services, which thankfully didn’t go through.EE3 yearsI picked up and they told me they were from some kind of phone warehouse car firm... probably meant carphone warehouse?
