She mentioned that I could have the wrong loft insulation, but there are about three different types of insulation that I know of: Rockwool is one that B&Q sell, and Knauf is another. However, I will not bore you with the details. She then went on to tell me that having the right amount of loft insulation could save me 20-30% on my heating costs. She also said that at age 50+, I would be entitled to a free government inspection and they could send a man round because their company is in the area, and all my neighbours had it done, leaving my property as the last on their list. She asked if I would be interested in making an appointment, and I said sorry, it's not just my decision. She then hung up. Firstly, she never once gave me her name in our 4 minutes and 19 seconds call; secondly, she never told me which insulation company she worked for either.
