I’m getting so many of these calls now it’s unreal, the list of blocked numbers on my phone is packed. Someone really needs to report this to Ofcom or BT, surely there’s a way to put a stop to it. I didn’t pick up this morning’s call, only just woke up. Looked it up here afterwards and yep, turned out to be another scam.

Really risky stuff, Twilio seems to be covering up behind VoIP tech and they’re using the Blackburn dialling code - but I’ve seen them use Glasgow and some other numbers too.

Got a call from this number around 8.15 in the morning, but they just hung up straight away. Don’t know who it was so I ended up blocking ####.

I got a call from a number beginning with 012, but I've already blocked all numbers starting with 012 since I don't know anyone with those prefixes. If you've got a call blocking app, I’d suggest adding 012 to the list of blocked area codes. These calls, especially ones starting 01254963, often turn out to be dodgy energy advisor scams. From my experience, numbers starting with 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 0177, 018, 019, 020, 028, as well as mobile beginnings like 074, 075, 077, 078, 079, are usually linked to scams or unwanted calls.

Another day, another ring from a Blackburn number linked to Twilio Ireland Limited. This is the eighth call I've got this week from different people, all flagged as scams by my phone. I never pick up since they're just a pain.

Got hit by loads of insulation scams coming from phone numbers linked to Twilio Ireland. Definitely had about six calls in the last few weeks, all from numbers that only changed the last three digits. Our number is meant to be private and it's on the TPS list, but Ofcom couldn't care less, which explains why these calls keep coming through and why the risk is so high.

I got a call that sounded like one of those automated messages. I tried answering a few questions but they just repeated themselves over and over without actually listening. Then they suddenly ended the call. They mentioned something about our loft insulation needing an upgrade to prevent damp and condensation problems. Not sure if it’s legit or just a dodgy scam, but it definitely felt off to me.

Got hit by another insulation scam using phone numbers linked to Twilio Ireland. Over the last month, I’ve had half a dozen calls, all the same except for the last few digits. Our number’s unlisted and registered with TPS, but Ofcom doesn’t seem bothered at all, which probably explains why it’s marked as risky.

They rang me at 5.10 pm. I answered but stayed silent, cause sometimes talking sets off an automated voice. Then the line just dropped. No voicemail or any message was left.

You wouldn't believe the state of the insulation in that scammer's loft! Honestly, it looks like it's been left untouched since 1962 or something. Proper ancient!
