Got a call a couple hours back that O2 flagged as spam, so I just ignored it. Seems like others had the same experience.

Total con. They claimed they were calling on behalf of O2.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from O2. Said he could knock 30% off my phone bill for half a year. When I asked what my new bill would actually be, he couldn’t give me a straight answer. I told him it was obviously a scam and how pathetic that was. Then he just hung up on me! Blocked the number straight away. Fingers crossed he doesn’t fool anyone else.

The person on the other end asked for my name but clearly had no clue who I was, then quickly hung up on me. Total scam if you ask me!

Do not speak to! An Asian sounding man purporting to be from O2 offered me a better deal and freebies. I don't use them, so I played along. After he thought I was a good potential, he passed me to a supervisor to continue the scam. I told him I was aware, and he hung up. I blocked the number.

Had a call from someone with a strong Indian accent, and I’m convinced it was a scam. Honestly, I try to avoid chatting with anyone who sounds Asian on the phone. Just my two pennies.

Got a call from someone speaking with a weird accent, said she was from BT or something. I couldn’t make out a single word she was saying. I told her she clearly wasn’t from BT and I couldn’t understand her at all. Then I told her to never call me again.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, promising me a great deal and free stuff. Thing is, I never even had O2, but I decided to humour them for a bit. The first bloke sounded Asian and the number showed up on my phone as from Bradford. He then handed me over to his 'manager' to finalise things, which I guess was meant to push the scam further. I told them straight up I knew what was going on and the call was cut off. I’ve blocked the number now. Just a heads up, this is definitely a dodgy scam going around.
