They warned that there was a transaction of 900 quid intended for online shopping, and instructed me to press 1 if I wasn’t responsible. I did that twice, but the call ended abruptly both times. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I rang them back to find out what they were about. Turns out, they’re from a company named Housing Triage checking if you’ve had cavity wall insulation done in the past year. I told them I’m just renting, not the owner, and they said there was nothing they could do for me. They thanked me for answering and that was the end of it.

Since the 9th of June, I've been bombarded with 15 phone calls. I've reported all these numbers to both the ICO and Action Fraud. If you're getting calls from any of these, I'd advise blocking them straight away as they've all been confirmed as cold callers.
