Definitely a scam, avoided answering when they called.

Someone called pretending to be 02, saying they'd give a '30% discount for a year, just for today' - sounded off to me. I'd say just block or don't bother answering.

Someone called saying they were from O2, first offering a 3% discount, then suddenly upping it to 30%. When I questioned them about it, their story started falling apart.
