Got a call from this number claiming to be Tesco Mobile. They told me my SIM had to be upgraded by tomorrow or my phone would get blocked. Then they asked for my email and tried to get me to sign into my Google account. I told them I’d ring Tesco Mobile myself because it sounded dodgy. They kept trying to keep me on the line but I just hung up and blocked the number. Tesco confirmed it was a scam. Watch out for this one!

Some woman with an Asian accent kept saying she was about to block my SIM card! I asked her like eight times where she even got my number from but she never gave me a clear answer. In the end I just laughed, hung up, and then blocked her number straight away.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was calling on behalf of Virgin Media. Since I don't have Virgin, I just ended the call straight away. Feels like one of those scams. I've gone ahead and blocked that number now.

I got a call from a woman who spoke really quickly with a foreign accent, claiming to be from Tesco Mobile about my SIM card. I told her straight away it sounded like a scam and ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent using this number. She actually mentioned the last four digits of one of my credit cards, which freaked me out. Then she went on about some problem with Tesco’s website and said I’d be sent a new SIM card with a contract the following day. She wouldn’t stop talking, so I just told her it was a scam and ended the call.

So I got a call from Virgin Media sayin something about my O2 SIM, which is actually mine, but how on earth do they know that? The accent was all over the place, real dodgy foreign call centre type, struggled with the English but when I mentioned FO they got it right away lol!

This bloke had such a thick accent and got really annoyed when I kept saying I couldn’t catch what he was saying. He claimed to be from Tesco Mobile, saying my SIM card was about to be cancelled in two days. I told him that was nonsense and just ended the call.

The number popped up as "Possible Spam" so I decided not to pick up. They didn’t leave any voicemail either. I looked it up here afterwards and yeah, it was definitely spam. Blocked the number straight away.

Got two calls from the same number this week. Didn't even pick up once, I was sure it was one of those scam calls. Just left it ringing and let them hang up on their own, figured why not make them lose their time for a change lol.

A couple days back I got a call from a woman with a strong South Asian accent, saying she was ringing from Tesco Mobile and that my SIM card was going to be cut off. It was obvious it was a scam. I just told her “that’s not the case” and ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent claiming she was calling about my Tesco account. Thing is, I’m not even a Tesco customer, so I told her she’d got the wrong number and ended the call, thinking it was probably a scam.

We never pick up these numbers, just look them up afterwards to find out who's bothering us. 99% of the time it's some sort of scammer trying their luck.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 or Virgin, but the minute I said I wasn’t with them, they just hung up straight away. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got a call then a text afterwards, wasn’t certain if it was legit. My contract with 02 just ended and I’m weighing up my options, but after reading the comments here... the message got marked as spam and I blocked the number.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 and warning me I'd be blocked soon. He didn’t want to prove who he was but kept asking for my details. After a while, I got really fed up, clearly a scammer, and when I told him off, he just told me to ‘go to hell’.

Some bloke rang saying I was linked with O2 and Virgin, which I’m not, so I called him out on it. He told me to f*** off! Still, he hung around on the phone for a good 3 minutes while I just ignored him and carried on cooking.

I got a call from someone saying they were from EE and claimed I could get 40% off my bill. I told them I was pretty tied up at the moment, but they kept pushing and wanted my info, saying it was some important offer. Eventually, I just ended the call.

Got a missed call while I was cleaning the driveway with the pressure washer. Shame, I actually enjoy having a laugh and messing about with telemarketers.

Been getting loads of calls where they just ring once then cut off. Seems like some O2 scam, but the number keeps changing. Told them I’m on the TPS and asked them to write to me or something lol.

I got a call from someone claiming my O2 SIM was about to expire and said they'd send me a new one if I set it up. I said no thanks, and they kept going on like they weren’t kidding. When I kept refusing, they just hung up. Then they called again the next day, but I didn’t pick up. I had a look at O2’s latest newsletter and there wasn’t a word about any SIMs expiring soon. Feels like a scam to me, no doubt about it.
