I saw this number pop up on my iPhone caller list earlier today, but since I have no friends or family in Blackburn and didn’t recognise the digits, I figured it might be some kind of scam. I’ve just gone ahead and blocked it now. Luckily, my landline hasn't received any dodgy calls from it yet.

A chap called me up claiming they were dispatching a new mobile my way. When I politely declined, he seemed taken aback and insisted I must want it. I reiterated that I wasn’t interested and requested he remove my number from his list, given his persistent calls. He then rather boisterously wished me a lovely day. Naturally, I returned the sentiment, but before I knew it, he had hung up.
