4 yearsI had an unpleasant encounter with a rather uncouth chap from MSR who was keen to tempt me with what he touted as a discount on my home and contents insurance repairs and maintenance. However, when I probed further, his responses were rather ambiguous. He insisted on having my bank details and became increasingly rude and derogatory when I refused to oblige. When I asked for a written statement, he claimed it wasn't possible since it wasn't a direct debit arrangement. To top it all, he suggested that it was somehow my fault for now being faced with a hefty bill of £390 for the next three years upfront. Curiously, he couldn't provide me with a contact number, claiming they operate with numerous different lines. I reached out to my insurance company, and they've advised me this is likely a scam.
