4 yearsI got a call from some bloke claiming to be from MSR offering a discount on the repair and maintenance section of my home and contents insurance. When I asked questions, he was super vague and dodgy. He then asked for my bank details, and when I said no, he started getting pretty rude and quite insulting. I requested some details in writing, but he told me they couldn’t send anything since it wasn’t a direct debit. He then said it was all my fault and that I’d have to pay the next three years upfront - apparently that would be £390. When I asked for the number he was calling from, he just said they use loads of different numbers. I double-checked with my insurance company and they reckon it’s a scam.
