I had a bit of fun with him, deliberately misspelling words and throwing him off track. After a good 19 minutes of back-and-forth, he finally threw in the towel. If only these sorts of people chose to operate above board, we’d all be in a much more secure position. Without a doubt, it's a scam.

I got a call from someone claiming my internet was at risk because of foreign hackers. When I told her I already knew about it, she just ended the call. Had a similar call yesterday, but that one said it was from BT.

Got a call from someone saying he was Dan Smith from BT, sounded like he was from Asia or somewhere. He wanted me to let him access my computer through some link with Join.Zoho[###]. I just played along, kept messing up the spellings and everything. After about 20 minutes of me wasting his time, he finally hung up. Honestly, if these sorts of people actually did proper work, life would be easier for everyone, but nope, just another obvious scam.
