Got a call from some so-called debt management firm claiming I'd taken out several loans that were all declined - complete nonsense as I haven’t borrowed anything nor applied for loans. My credit rating is spot on, in the high 800s. Right after the call, I checked with Experian to see if someone had stolen my identity, but no trace of any applications. It’s definitely a scam. I thought it was a local number I was waiting for, but the caller got quite rude when I challenged them. Needless to say, I’ve blocked the number now! What really worries me is they already had my full name and phone number.
