Somebody called claiming to be from BT saying my line was going to be cut off at a certain time, and said to press 1 to speak to tech support or 2 to keep the line active. Since I’d just got a new phone yesterday, I figured it might really be BT, so I pressed 1. But after that there was just silence, so I ended the call.

Got a call from some bloke named Alan claiming he’s from the windows tech team. He was trying to convince me that my computer had problems and wanted to access it remotely. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

this person called me saying there was something wrong with my windows and they could help fix it, i told them that was odd since i don’t even own a computer. they just hung up on me. honestly, their english was pretty bad too. i enjoy messing with these sorts of calls!

I was having problems with my keyboard and someone phoned me saying they needed to fix my PC. Then they tried to push me into buying a Microsoft licence for either £60 or £100. I told them I couldn’t afford it, and they said they’d ring me again on Friday, like I asked. When they do, I’m just going to tell them to find a real job.

Got a call from some Indian call centre folks pretending to be Windows support. I played along for about 30 minutes just messing about before I lost interest. They wanted to take over my Windows PC, but when they cottoned on that I was winding them up, they started getting pretty nasty.
