Got a ring from this number earlier, some woman claiming she was calling about pension reviews. She said it was free and mentioned a recent government report about pension companies overcharging. Seems like every time there's news about stuff like this - remember PPI? - dodgy people try to take advantage. I wasn’t fooled since I’m already retired, but just a heads up. If you reckon you’re paying too much into your pension, best to check it out yourself rather than trusting calls like this.

I recently found a voicemail on my BT Answerphone from this number - no actual message, just a lot of noise like people chatting in an office. I used to get loads of calls like this on my home line, mostly from international numbers. So, I decided to get the BT 6500 phone. Honestly, it was the best call I’ve made because it lets me send these calls straight to the answerphone without my phone ringing. It really seems to frustrate the callers since I haven’t had a single direct ring from them in about three months. Trying to talk sense to these nuisance callers is pointless, they just hang up on you, which is super irritating. Honestly, getting this phone is the way to go.
