Got these pesky telemarketers ringing me up, even though I'm on the TPS list. What I usually do is put them on hold for a bit, maybe a few minutes or so. Then I come back and say something like, "Sorry for the wait, but since you’re wasting mine, I thought I’d return the favour." After that, I just drop the call and block their number. Judging by the accents, they seem to be calling from somewhere near Blackpool, or at least somewhere else in Lancashire.

Got a call from some company asking if I'd rented a flat on the main high street. Also, loads of calls from these numbers: 01254 865401, 0333 344 7593 (they claimed to be from utilities), 0800 035 2218, 01772 924987, 0161 814 9540, and 01228 830699. All of them buzzed me while I was actually writing this, what a pain! Can't seem to get a minute without them ringing. Proper hassle.

Got a call from someone trying to con me into signing up for a dodgy energy contract. Definitely a scam.
