Looks like a total scam to me!

I didn’t pick up the phone. When I checked with 1471, it showed 01254855622. Looks like the number’s spoofed, which I heard is allowed unless it’s for scams. The 01254 code is from Blackburn but I’m pretty sure the call wasn’t actually made from the UK. Wish there was a way to block spoofed calls like we can block withheld numbers these days.

someone rang me from abroad saying his name was edward nolan and he was with talk talk, my internet company. i didn’t stick around to listen to his rubbish about my internet being at risk either.

Received a ring from this number bright and early at half eight on the 3rd of February, 2017. There was a cacophony of noise in the background, making it quite difficult to discern what was being said. The caller, an Asian-sounding chap, seemed to be purporting to be from TalkTalk, my internet service provider. I caught snippets about some supposed breach of my internet security. I repeatedly mentioned I could hardly make him out, which probably frustrated him as he abruptly ended the call. Definitely feels like a dodgy number to me.

I got a call from someone with an accent telling me there were issues with my internet and router. He asked me to log in so he could fix it, but when I asked for my IP address details, he just ended the call. Quite cheeky if you ask me!

this number rang me twice, first around 8 in the morning then again close to 11. the bloke had an indian accent and claimed there was an issue with my phone provider, yet he had no clue who i was actually with. ive got call blocking set up so these annoying calls shouldnt be getting through. seriously, bt, you need to fix this.
